Exceptional sheet sizes

RubberGard roofing membrane is available in significantly larger sheet sizes than other roofing systems – from 3m x 30m to 15m x 60m. These large sheets result in fewer field seams, sometimes removing the need for joins altogether. Not only does this help to accelerate installation time, but also offers higher reliability and performance as a result.

Comparatively, traditional materials are typically supplied in much smaller widths, extending installation time and adding further pressure:

• Bitumen – 1m width (average)
• Single-ply membrane – 2m width (average)
• RubberGard EPDM – from 3m to 15m width (up to 930m2)

Simplified installation process

RubberGard EPDM is unlike many other single-ply membranes. Installation is conducted with few tools and using cold-applied (commonly spray) adhesives, also increasing safety. To manage any seams, extrusions or outlets, there is a range of specially developed seam tapes and accessories.

Lightweight and durable, RubberGard is easy to handle, in spite of the size of the sheets. Because of the install process and exceptional sheet size availability of RubberGard, it can cover a large expanse of flat roof quickly. Using this system can significantly shorten installation time overall and ensure that the building can be made watertight while the installation detailing is completed.
